Glasshouse Mountains
Travel in the YHA bus to the famous and beautiful Glasshouse Mountains and climb Mt. Ngungun. Bask in great views in this natural park which holds what were once lava plugs within volcanic cones.
Noosa National Park
This national park features spectacular coastal scenery and provides an important refuge for native wildlife including koalas and a number of bird species. Our tours range to the Hells Gate Walk. Expect to see various forms of wildlife and unique views of coastline and beaches.
Kondalilla Falls
Kondalilla Falls is located within the Kondalilla National Park which is located in the Blackall Range near Montville. The park is a cool retreat with subtropical rainforest and of course the spectacular Kondalilla waterwall which drops water a stunning 90m into a rainforest valley. Expect to see a diverse range of wildlife and birds, such as goanas, kookaburras and more.
Eumundi Markets
The Eumundi Markets run Saturday and Wednesday of the year come rain, hail or shine. The markets are located in the historic town of Eumundi which is normally a sleepy town that bursts to life during the morning of market days. Shoppers looking for unique products need to look no further from the 500 different stalls setup that sell local produce, arts and crafts and you can even get your palm read. When you need a break from shopping there is substantial local talent to keep you entertained from country music to trancing tribal rhythms.
