Fishing

Hire one our free rods and head on over to the Maroochy River for some first class beach fishing. Cast off along the shores or cross the footbridge onto Chamber Island for another sink hole. Flathead, whiting, bream and trevally have all been caught in this area. You can even walk a bit further to the mouth of the river which connects with the ocean. There is also two Jetties which provide casting off points and lights for nighttime fishing and if you don't catch anything you will at least catch some spectacular Australian sunsets. No fishing license is required in Queensland, however you must adhere to size restrictions.
